Etika Bisnis Dalam Pasar Persaingan sempurna (Bebas)
Melihat kondisi pasar perdagangan internasional sekarang ini, metamorfosis pasar diperkirakan akan menuju ke arah suatu bentuk pasar “free market competition”. Karena pasar bebas merupakan bentuk pasar yang paling adil.
Free market competition sebagai bentuk pasar persaingan sempurna, tanpa adanya intervensi pemerintah dan diperkirakan merupakan bentuk pasar yang paling adil ini mampukah membawa kemaslahatan bagi ummat Jawabanya kontroversi, bagi yang pro, pasar bebas akan membawa kemaslahatan, dengan argumen pasar bebas merupakan pasar yang paling adil. Pasar dalam Islam sendiri, memiliki kecenderungan ke arah pasar bebas dengan persaingan sempurna. Walaupun Islam juga mengatur tentang intervensi pasar, tetapi hanya sebatas ketika terjadi ketidak sempurnaan pasar dan ada oknum-oknum yang menyebabkan persaingan penjadi tidak fair. Oleh karenannya, agar pasar terdorong ke arah pemusatan maslahah ummat, etika-etika bisnis harus dipegang dan diaplikasikan secara nyata oleh pelaku pasar. Selain itu, setiap negara telah mempersiapkan SDM yang berkualitas yang siap berkompetisi.
Fenomena sebaliknya akan terjadi jika etika bisnis islam, sebagaimana yang telah disebutkan diatas tidak dipenuhi. Bukannya kemaslahatan ummat, pasar bebas justru akan menyebabkan persaingan pasar tidak sehat, ketidaksempurnaan pasar, penguasaan oleh para segelintir orang karena kepentingannya. Free market competitions akan meyebabkan monopoli dan oligopoli. Terlebih lagi jika tidak adannya kesiapan SDM untuk berkompetisi. Hukum rimba berlaku di dalam pasar bebas, siapa yang kuat dialah yang menang. Penjajahan ekonomi akan kembali berulang.
Pentingnya etika bisnis Islam dalam menciptakan kemaslahatan ummat dalam menghadapi era free market competitions, perlu untuk kita perhatikan. Etika Bisnis Pada Pasar Oligopoli
Pasar oligopoli adalah adalah pasar di mana penawaran satu jenis barang dikuasai oleh beberapa perusahaan. Umumnya jumlah perusahaan lebih dari dua tetapi kurang dari sepuluh.
Dalam pasar oligopoli, setiap perusahaan memposisikan dirinya sebagai bagian yang terikat dengan permainan pasar, di mana keuntungan yang mereka dapatkan tergantung dari tindak-tanduk pesaing mereka. Sehingga semua usaha promosi, iklan, pengenalan produk baru, perubahan harga, dan sebagainya dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk menjauhkan konsumen dari pesaing mereka.
Merupakan salah satu bentuk monopoli tetapi berbeda sifat dimana dalam oligopoli, kolusi terjadi antara pengusaha satu dengan pengusaha lain.
